Analysis Summary
CVE-2022-22943
VMware Tools for Windows could allow a local authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by an uncontrolled search path vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code with system privileges in the Windows guest OS.
CVE-2022-22946
VMware Tanzu Spring Cloud Gateway could allow a local authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by using an HTTP2 insecure TrustManager. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to connect to remote services with invalid or custom certificates.
CVE-2022-22947
VMware Tanzu Spring Cloud Gateway could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a flaw when the Gateway Actuator endpoint is enabled. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.
