Analysis Summary
Anonymous, a hacktivist and activist collective, has declared their support for Ukraine in this ongoing cyber war. The collective also hacked Russian TV channels, played the Ukrainian national anthem on them, and also showed uncensored news of what was happening in Ukraine.
Recently, Anonymous has claimed to have hacked the Central Bank of Russia. The collective has claimed to have stolen 35,000 files and has leaked 28GB data from the theft.
“We distributed these documents to various points of the internet. If the links are censored, we will share them on different links.”
The Russian-Ukrainian Cyber war will also have implications for the rest of the world. Repercussions can already be seen in geo-political situations all over the world.
