EMS applauds proficient deployment of Gemalto's two-factor authentication by Rewterz
Middle East's leading BlackBerry services and solutions provider , Emitac Mobile Solutions (EMS) recently inaugurated their two-factor authentication system which is based on Gemalto's renowned Protiva lineup. The deployment was carried out through Gemalto's Middle East partner, Rewterz.
Protiva Strong Authentication is a network identity management platform which is easily configurable to provide an extra level of security for online banking, e-commerce and access to corporate networks and is designed to enable maximum flexibility across a multitude of networks.
Protiva's extremely user friendly and portable devices display unique eight digit one-time password, which the user enters directly into the remote network application through a keyboard, enabling authentication that surpasses all geographic limitations and readily integrates with a vast array of IT infrastructure.
Rewterz was entrusted for deploying the Protiva security solution, including the Strong Authentication Server, technical support services and two-factor authentication devices to secure the access of the EMS network, servers and VPNs.
Deploying Gemalto's two factor authentication was in line with EMS's vision of providing their customers and users with the highest degree of security in tandem with usability, owing to the 'plug and play' capabilities of Protiva.
